One New Year's resolution down...

Sometime in January, I managed to fulfill one of my new year's resolution which is to fold shirts the Japanese way. Throughout trying to master the art of folding shirts the Japanese way, I couldn't help "Haiyoooook"-ing all the way...

A Hairy Encounter...

While lazing in bed waiting for Boyfie's routine nightly phone call, I saw this picture I drew for my blog readers two weeks ago on the night stand...

Hahahaah...sorry for the delay in uploading my art. Hope you have a roaring time from laughing out loud!

Since I did not manage to capture the moment with my camera, I decided to draw this pic to demonstrate the result of not shaving my legs for my physio session and was unlucky enough to get a guy physio-therapist that particular day. My usual physio-therapist is a lady so I just didn't bother to shave since I just shaved my legs two days before. Ayoyooooo...

Lesson learnt...at least shave up to my calves. You'll never know when you'd get a guy physio-therapist.

A Japanese Proverb

" We learn little from victory, much from defeat"

Stumbled upon it while watching the war documentaries last night.

When things are down, just remind yourself of this Japanese proverb. It can apply across all kinds of situations. It can lift up the spirits of those who are suffering from a downfall be it in family, marriage or career. There is no shame in failing in anything. Yes, cry, hit and throw things if you must, RANT! BE ANGRY!

BUT...

Be patient in facing the difficulties life has dealt you,
Remind yourself of the good things you still have before you forget you actually have them,
Stand up and hold your head up high as to not give people the advantage of relishing your downfall,
MOVE ON...take the bad and the good from the situation, forgive but DON't forget...
Finally, keep on smiling. Those expecting your failure HATES it when you're still smiling despite the SH** you've been through...
